John advises clients across a broad spectrum of industries on business dealings, disputes, shareholder matters, lending arrangements, contracts and trade practices, combining technical expertise with practical and strategic guidance.
John’s experience spans complex corporate and personal insolvency and reconstruction matters, acting for liquidators, administrators, receivers, trustees, private companies, individuals, and directors.
John also provides expert advice on commercial and domestic construction matters, representing owners, builders, and consultants including navigating the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment legislation
Recognised for his work on a complex three-way merger valued at $686 million, John received the Deal of the Year Award at the 2018 Victorian Legal Awards. He has completed a Graduate Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship (GC In&Ent) at Adelaide University via Pitcher Partners. He is also Secretary of the Melbourne Central Insolvency Discussions Group.
