As Head of Tax, Tom is highly regarded for his strategic insight and ability to guide clients through the timing, negotiation and resolution of disputes, providing clear advice on when settlement or litigation is the best course of action.
In 2019, Tom was recognised in the Australia Day Honours List with a Medal (OAM) in the General Division for service to the law.
He has advised a very large range of clients including public and private companies, local government, incorporated associations, private individuals and charitable groups, in relation to almost every area of both federal and state taxation. Tom has also advised extensively on commercial matters, often on issues arising from tax advice.
