Madgwicks has a history of community engagement extending back to when the firm was first established. Our lawyers regularly act for and are involved in a number of not-for-profit community organisations as well as a wide range of industry associations.
Each year, the employees at Madgwicks nominate a ‘charity of the year’ and work towards raising funds throughout the year with various social and fundraising activities. At the end of the year, the firm matches the amount raised by employees and hands over a cheque to the nominated charity.
2025 Charity of the Year
Madgwicks is proud to support for the Black Dog Institute as our Charity of the Year for 2025. Their mission, as an independent, world-renowned mental health research institute, is to create hope and improve mental health outcomes for Australians experiencing mental illness.
By raising funds and awareness throughout the year, our aim is to enable more life-saving mental health research, supporting the one in five Australians who will experience symptoms of mental illness in any given year.
